Tomatillo Salsa (Salsa Verde)


  • 1 case of tomatillos
  • 30 jalapenos
  • 30 cloves of garlic
  • 9 bunches of cilantro
  • 3 yellow onions
  • 3 cups of chicken base


Boil tomatillos and jalapenos in water for 20-30 minutes.

Place in cooler to chill or ice bath.

Add garlic and onions cut in half to chilled tomatillos and jalapenos.

Blend with mixing stick until smooth.

Add chicken base and cilantro blend until mixed completely.

Add salt and blend to taste.
