Smoked Brisket

Ingredients

  • Brisket
  • 3 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups salt
  • 1/2 cup paprika
  • 1/2 cup chili powder
  • 1/2 cup mustard powder
  • 1/4 cup cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup granulated garlic

Directions

Mix dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, use one cup rub for each brisket.

Smoke for 30 minutes at 250 degrees in alto sham

After smoking, cook for another 3.5 hours at 350 degrees.

Internal temp should reach 160

Rest 1.5 hours before slicing
