Fried Fish Batter


  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • .25 oz Salt
  • 1 3/4 cups club soda


In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and a pinch of salt.

With a fork, blend in the club soda until incorporated; it’s OK if the batter is lumpy.

Let rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.
