Chipotle Crema


  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup Crema (or mayo)
  • 2 canned chipotle chilies in adobo, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • salt and pepper, to taste


Mix together the cream cheese, crema Mexicana (or mayo), chipotle chilies, lime juice, buttermilk and a pinch of salt and pepper in a medium bowl.

Cover and place in the fridge until ready to use.
